Our Not-So-Happy Dinner @ SOMS Noodle House, Mandaluyong

We've been a fan of their branch at Rockwell.

Their popular curries, are a must-try, although you have to make sure you're wearing pants, closed shoes and plenty of insect repellant to avoid mosquito bites. The food was the main reason why we kept coming back despite of the many mosquitoes you could find under the table.

Sad to say, I couldn't say the same for their branch in Mandaluyong.

It was almost midnight when we got there. Although there was only one waitress serving the customers while her other companions were just seated by the stairs, she still managed to get our order the moment we sat on the table.

I was taking Rommel's pictures while sipping milk tea and waiting for our beef curry. I was prepping myslef 'til the food gets there so I can take pictures and post another yummy dinner at Soms on my blog. Twenty minutes after, the curry arrived. I only took one quick shot and then we both started eating. After one much awaited bite, both Rommel and I murmured that the beef was unchewable. After a few more bites, it was still the same.

We left the place still hungry. We both went home looking forward to a filling breakfast.
